The world of pop culture turns its eyes to Lucca, Italy, this weekend for Lucca Comics & Games 2018, the largest comics festival in Europe. And Kingdom Hearts III is having a pretty big presence at the event.

While he could not attend, series creator Tetsuya Nomura presented the convention goers with a brand new Kingdom Hearts III trailer. This trailer focused on the Kingdom of Corona from Disney’s Tangled, focusing on Sora, Donald and Goofy joining Rapunzel and Flynn Rider after their escape from Rapunzel’s tower home/prison.

You can check out the new trailer below. At only around a minute in length, it’s a quick view.

Kingdom Hearts III has a 90-minute panel at Lucca 2018, headlined by Executive Producer Shinji Hashimoto. For my breakdown of the latest trailer, as well as any other Kingdom Hearts III news coming out of Lucca 2018, stay tuned to Geekpiphany!

When he isn't smacking down Heartless or thwarting the machinations of Kefka, Sephiroth and the like, you can usually find him kicking back and watching some anime. Some of his favorites include Gurren Lagann and Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood. He also holds in high regard the Fruits Basket manga (don't judge.)
